Sprucedale & District Horticultural Society

Around the third Sunday in July from 9am - 4pm you can spend the day viewing beautiful flowered gardens around several communities. The Sprucedale & District Horticultural Society hosts this really fun day for all gardeners to enjoy.
This event is a great way for you to learn about gardening and to get some tips from other gardeners. Take home some plants that home owners are happy to give you and meet lots of local people from various communities.
Tour Maps are available from several locations to include Burk's Falls ValuMart, Daisy-a-Day Nursery, Emsdale B & G Variety, Fern Glen Nursery, Kirk's Variety in Spucedale, Katrine General Store, Almaguin Highlands Information Centre, Hope's Foodland in Novar and Kearney Community Centre.

Huntsville Moonlight Madness

Huntsville Moonlight Madness takes place in Huntsville at the beginning of July every year starting on Friday. The weekend offers lots of fun events all day long. Win a shopping spree, meet special characters, have pictures taken, enjoy entertainment and take advantage of the amazing prices offered throughout the Mall and surrounding stores.

Summer Rodeo in Huntsville, Muskoka



During the month of July come out and enjoy The Summer Rodeo in Huntsville which attracts competitors as far away as the United States and Brazil. The inaugural Huntsville Western Rodeo Royale gets underway at the Huntsville fairgrounds on Saturday at the end of July for 2 days.
This event will feature bull riding, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, breakaway roping, junior barrel racing and junior bull riding.
There will be food vendors, entertainment, demonstrations and an evening dance. A portion of the proceeds will go towards community fundraisers in Huntsville.
Tickets for the Huntsville Rodeo in Muskoka, Ontario are $16 for adults and $8 for children under 10. Infants are free and parking on the fairgrounds is $2.
